BidMyFix respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly.
This Privacy Policy explains how BidMyFix Inc., operating as BidMyFix (“BidMyFix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal information when you use the BidMyFix website, application, and related services.
BidMyFix currently operates as a pilot marketplace connecting vehicle owners with independent automotive repair providers.
By using BidMyFix, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

When customers and repair providers communicate using BidMyFix, we may collect or retain:
- messages;
- repair questions;

10. Consent
BidMyFix seeks meaningful consent where required for the collection, use, or disclosure of personal information.
The type of consent may depend on:
- the sensitivity of the information;
- the purpose for which it is collected;
- the user's reasonable expectations; and
- applicable law.
Certain information is necessary to provide the service. For example, a customer who wants repair providers to respond to a repair request must allow BidMyFix to share relevant repair-request information with participating providers.
Optional uses, such as promotional marketing, will be handled separately where appropriate.
Users may withdraw consent to certain uses of their personal information, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawal may affect BidMyFix's ability to provide certain features.

- vehicle information;
- description of the repair issue;
- photographs;
- requested service;
- approximate location;
- preferred timing; and
- relevant customer communications.
BidMyFix avoids sharing more customer information than reasonably necessary at the bidding stage. For example, a customer's full home address or telephone number is not shown to every provider simply because the customer submitted a request.
More detailed contact or location information is shared once the customer selects a provider or otherwise chooses to communicate directly.
12. Information Shared With Customers
BidMyFix may share participating provider information with customers, including:
- business name;
- operating location;
- services;
- provider profile;
- estimates or responses;

- important Platform notices.
Promotional email or SMS communications will be handled separately. Where consent is required, BidMyFix will seek appropriate consent before sending promotional communications.
Users may unsubscribe from promotional communications using the unsubscribe method provided in those communications. Unsubscribing from marketing messages will not necessarily stop communications required to provide an active service or maintain account security.
16. Cookies and Similar Technologies
BidMyFix may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for:
- user authentication;
- security;
- account functionality;
- remembering user preferences; and

BidMyFix does not intentionally send Meta sensitive repair information, vehicle identification numbers (VINs), licence plate numbers, private messages, uploaded repair photographs, street addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, or other information that directly identifies a customer through Meta Pixel.
Information collected through Meta Pixel may be processed by Meta Platforms, Inc. in accordance with Meta's own privacy practices and may be used for advertising measurement, analytics, ad delivery, and related services.
Meta Pixel and similar non-essential advertising or analytics technologies are activated only where the user has provided the required consent.
Users may refuse non-essential advertising and analytics cookies without losing access to BidMyFix's core services. Users may also change their cookie preferences later through the website's cookie settings.
Essential cookies required for authentication, security, and core website functionality may operate independently of advertising-cookie preferences.
18. How Long We Keep Information

Where required by applicable law, BidMyFix will notify affected individuals and appropriate authorities.
BidMyFix will maintain appropriate records of privacy breaches where legally required.
21. Accessing Your Personal Information

BidMyFix may retain information that is reasonably required for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.
23. Account Deletion

Account closure does not necessarily mean every record can immediately be deleted.
BidMyFix may retain information where reasonably necessary or legally required, including information associated with:
- fraud investigations;
- disputes;
- complaints;
- legal obligations;
- security incidents; or
- records necessary to establish or defend legal claims.
Other information will be deleted, anonymized, or securely disposed of according to BidMyFix's retention practices.
