About BidMyFix

Our story

BidMyFix started from two simple, everyday problems we kept seeing around the Niagara Region: drivers who felt stuck accepting whatever the first quote said, with no easy way to compare it to anything else - and independent repair shops nearby with open bay time going unused, week after week, for lack of the right job at the right moment.

BidMyFix is our way of helping with both at once: describe what your car needs once, and local shops that have room for it can respond with a real price and time. From there, the driver picks the offer that works, and the shop fills a bay it would otherwise have left empty.

We’re building this as a local marketplace, not a big anonymous platform - every driver who submits a request and every shop that sends a quote is genuinely helping shape what BidMyFix becomes next. That’s why we’re starting small and honest about it: BidMyFix is currently a pilot in the Niagara Region, working closely with a first group of approved local shops while we get this right together, one request at a time.

During the pilot, customers pay the shop directly, and the repair itself is always the shop’s responsibility - BidMyFix connects drivers and shops, but doesn’t perform repairs or process payment.

For drivers

You stay in control from start to finish: describe the repair, compare real offers from local shops, ask questions before you commit, and choose the appointment and price that work for you.

For repair shops

Local repair opportunities arrive as flexible customers submit requests. A shop chooses which jobs to quote, sets its own prices and availability, and is never obligated to bid on a request that isn’t a good fit.
